Doris P. Johnson
Doris Johnson has served her Savior as an Assemblies of God minister since 1952. She and her late husband, Dr. Bernhard Johnson, spent three years in home missions in California before beginning their ministry in Brazil in 1957 and initiating their world-wide evangelism crusades that took them to 65 nations. In 225 major crusades in the nation of Brazil, they saw 1,800,000 persons pray the sinner's prayer to receive Jesus Christ as Savior, as well as great multitudes healed and delivered from demon possession.
After Bernhard's death in 1995, Doris assumed the Presidency of BJM in the USA and serves on several Brazilian ministry boards. She raises funds for various missionary projects in Brazil and exercises an active prayer and preaching ministry, as well as managing the USA office and traveling to Brazil for ministry several times a year.
